Experience:

As a therapist, pastoral counselor, storyteller, consultant and coach, Patricia Ellen Burgin works with individuals, couples, families, groups, and professional teams. Before coming to Samaritan (formerly Presbyterian Counseling Service) in 1995, she focused on training, management, writing, and major conference presentations in the U.S., Latin America, and Eastern Europe

Professional Interests and Specialties:

  • Patty works with people as they navigate life's passages: change, loss, grief-and new beginnings
  • She works with couples-whether or not they're in crisis
  • She works with individuals, groups and teams in building successful relationships at home and at work
  • She guides people as they explore their family-of-origin patterns and possibilities
  • She helps her clients to pursue spiritual healing where there has been abuse or intimidation
  • And she helps clients to explore the personal and relational issues related to sexuality and sexual orientation
  • In addition, Patricia Ellen facilitates:

    • Training for team leaders and facilitators
