How You Can Help Samaritan Center of Puget Sound

Thank you for supporting our work. There are many ways you can help Samaritan.

Men's Fund

In 2005, ‘The Men’s Fund’ was created by a donation of $1,000 to help low-income men receive needed therapy.  This donation, made by a Samaritan staff member who wished to remain anonymous, was matched by other staff contributions.  Since then, other donors have joined with Samaritan staff in supporting this fund.  You may contribute to ‘The Men’s Fund’ and to Samaritan’s other areas of service by using the on-line Donate Now button or contacting us directly.

Other Ways You Can Help

By keeping us in your prayers as we serve those in need in our community.

By making a donation through your workplace giving programs (Combined Drive United Way, Boeing Good Neighbor). Designate Samaritan Center of Puget Sound (or Presbyterian Counseling Service) to receive your gift.

By making a gift of appreciated stock can help us and may give you a tax break. Call us for more information.

By volunteering your time: we have needs for office help and help to work on our facility. Call us for job descriptions.

By remembering Samaritan in your will. The gift you leave will be a legacy of your life and help those in need.

The Women's Fund

Samaritan invites women in the community to come together once a year to support a fund that makes counseling affordable for very low-income women.

Women often come to Samaritan seeking help when they are depressed, struggling with the trauma of an abusive relationship, experiencing the pain of divorce or separation, or grieving the loss of a loved one.

Often these women have extremely limited incomes, making even Samaritan's fee-adjusted services financially out of reach. Some of these women have nowhere else to turn for support and hope.
